FastFitness is owned and operated by Kim
Lockwood. Kim, who is a licensed OTA, Occupational Therapist
Assistant. In 2003 Kim was in a serious car accident,
sustaining multiple injuries which included a fractured
vertebra in her neck. Kim went through two years of
rehabilitation, four separate surgeries and was told she
would not be able to return to work. Not being someone who
can sit around and whine she dreamed up FastFitness.
With help from OEDA,
FastFitness opened August 4th 2004. By the end of their
first year, Kim signed up over 300 new members, giving away
300 tee shirts and had to hire two part time girls.
This success earned FastFitness
several recognition awards for business.
